BetUS
The heading of this piece makes it look like as if I'm going to bad-mouth them. That's not true. I'm just going to lay out known facts.
BetUS (official website address is BetUS.com.pa) is one of the oldest offshore gambling sites, comparable to related sites like BetOnline, Bovada and BookMaker. They've been in the gambling business since 1994, that's when the Google's founders were still in college.
So, is there an issue with trust, when it comes to BetUS? I don't think so. In fact, it's as legit of a betting site, as it can get.
But still...
This doesn't change the fact that they do not have a valid gambling license in the US; though they're licensed in Central America, the Netherlands Antilles and the Island of Mwali . This still makes them illegal in every US city.
Now, whether they're applying for a license, considering sports betting is becoming legal rapidly all over the US, is another story. I don't know if they are. Let that be clear.
Now, having said all this, BetUS enjoys a good reputation among those American gamblers who really don't care about a site being offshore. People who bet at BetUS do it because they trust it as an honest brand.
Do I trust them? May be, perhaps not as much as BetOnline, for example, but it doesn't matter what I say, but what the real users of this site have to share online.
So, I did a bit of Redditing on them. Turns out, there are many negative threads about them there too. Most of it relates to not getting paid for large winnings. A small percentage of Redditors did vouch for them, rather fiercely, stating that they had no payout issues, and that their customer support really pushed it hard to accomodate them, especially for odds on the underdogs.
Their TrustPilot reviews are about average. A few like the sheer number of casino games it has, others aren't impressed by the time it takes to get a payout.
Let's do a bit of basic stuff, quickly.
They don't have an app, but the site works fine on smartphones. Unlicensed offshore betting sites don't invest in apps anyway.
They have most of the popular casino games available, and a sports betting platform that can provide access to every game on the planet. Their odds are comparable to BookMaker and Bovada. Props and Parlays aren't that impressive.
Welcome bonus - expires if unused 14 days after a deposit - is 125% and up to $3,125. This is good. I think newer players should take advantage of it, if you can get over the 10X (sports) to 30X (casino) rolling requirement.
They promise discreet payments within 48 hours, provided a user is KYCed. But let's be real. You're looking at several days, provided they even approve your winnings.
Minimum deposit is only $10. They prefer cryptocurrencies. Card payments can be expensive, and complicated. Cash Transfers and Bank Wires are available.
As for customer support, they have a dedicated email ticketing system, and a phone number for everything. I would imagine, this makes this site worth the time and effort. Because providing raw 24X7 phone support requires a lot of prudential on the management's side of the aisle.
The legal alternatives of BetUS.com.pa in the United States are of course FanDuel, DraftKings, BetRivers, PointsBet, Fanatics, Caesars and BetMGM. But, people can and do choose offshore options over licensed sites for a myriad of reasons.
Right. Let's wrap up.
BetUS is old. Possibly the oldest in the game. It has its ups and downs. All sites do.
Whether you choose to ignore the shady part and still give them shot, is well, totally up to you.

A word from the author:
To make this review fair, transparent and to remove any sponsorship bias, I allocated anywhere between $500 (for casual betting) to $25,000 (for evaluating the quality of the high-roller gambling services) out of my own pocket for testing the browser-based platform and the app (where available) of this betting site.
- This money was spent on online casino games and sports betting, depending on what the place is primarily known for. For example, certain brands only cater to slots, while others are predominantly sportsbooks.
- My tests involved all the processes, such as initial deposit and accepting welcome bonuses, KYC, an actual experience of playing the games, and finally withdrawing my winnings, if any.
