BetChan Casino
BetChan is just a derivative. Kind of a like another-standard-live-casino skin, one would expect.
It's a bro or sister brand of the PlayAmo group. Other sites on this network have names like BetAmo, Woo Casino, King Billy etc. All under the umbrella of Dama N.V., a Curacao-licensed offshore company.
Frankly, I felt like not writing about it, at all, as there would be nothing new to add. But, it's my job to do so, and I have to pay the rent.
Despite what casino review sites say about BetChan being available to many countries, the reality says something else. This place is actually - like its sister sites - quite restrictive.
BetChan, from what I could gather takes most of its customers from Germany and Austria. I would imagine, they wouldn't have problems accepting folks from Monaco and Norway etc., too. UK is accepted but the US players aren't allowed through the gates. In fact, you can't even load this site from many of the prohibited countries.
Their focus - not much of a surprise there - is mostly live casino gaming services. With partnerships with Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, Microgaming, NetEnt, Red Tiger Gaming, AMUSNET, among others, you are sure to get a solid platform, when it comes to live dealers. Like I said above, I don't think it's a lame place for live betting.
With all these strategic bondings, this place is filled up with all the popular slot titles too. Mega Moolah?...sure.
Being licensed in a tier-2 jurisdiction like Malta, one can expect a slightly below-average experience. Generally, from my own personal point of view, online casinos licensed by the MGA tend to offer a better customer support environment. That's just me and I know there are a million people who would fervently disagree with me.
Regarding app, well, BetChan doesn't have one, but their website loads, fine just like an app would, on all modern smartphones. I don't think you'll have an issue there. Playstore and App store are very hard on online gambling products, and it requires a lot of licenses to be able to get a gambling app on there. Most offshore-ish betting sites, therefore, don't have one.
A good thing about deposits is that BetChan accepts the standard payment ways like credit cards, debit cards, Skrill, Neteller etc. Minimum deposit is €20, and with cards it's €4k per transaction, max. Just email them to ask, if you're a whale and want more deets.
Withdrawals are made within an acceptable timeframe, provided you don't win a large jackpot; which can trigger the KYC drama, followed by expected delays :-). If everything's in place, most withdrawals can be processed within 3 to 5 working days.
Bonuses aren't that impressive. Max is up to €100 with 20 or so free spins. There's also a 11% cashback offer - for repeat depositors of course.
Customer support is just above the average line, with email and live chat being the common mode. I haven't personally tried it, so I'm not really sure of the response times. Might as well check out their complaints cell, while you're at it.
Like other DAMA N.V-owned online casinos, they *claim* to have their games audited for fairness. I'm sort of double-minded on this one. I don't think these dramatics matter that much. What really counts is, if a casino would be willing to pay out a 6-figure win, without making it a life-and-death situation.
I think, and take it like a grain of salt, BetChan can fill up a space in countries, where the regulations make it very hard to bet big, and also be able to remain semi-anonymous. If you look at them from that angle, this place sure does spew legitness.
And if BetChan still doesn't click you; there's always alternatives, like the anyone-is-welcome Super Slots Casino and Germany-focused 20Bet. Google them.

A word from the author:
To make this review fair, transparent and to remove any sponsorship bias, I allocated anywhere between $500 (for casual betting) to $25,000 (for evaluating the quality of the high-roller gambling services) out of my own pocket for testing the browser-based platform and the app (where available) of this betting site.
- This money was spent on online casino games and sports betting, depending on what the place is primarily known for. For example, certain brands only cater to slots, while others are predominantly sportsbooks.
- My tests involved all the processes, such as initial deposit and accepting welcome bonuses, KYC, an actual experience of playing the games, and finally withdrawing my winnings, if any.
